This is an excellent all rounder chef knife forged from 1084 high carbon steel, finished with a forced patina and highly polished handle. The hanlde is carved from stabolized coolabah burl, with rounded G10 and brass spacers to step the hand down for a comfortable pinch grip. It has been finished with a fine grind designed to slice easily through meat and vegitables. It is an excellent all rounder and gloriously comfortable to grip having been sculpted to fit any hand. Complete with a fitted red cedar sheath.
Every blade that I forge is heat treated in a temperature-controlled kiln to optimize hardness, toughness and carbide formation ensuring the steel performs to the maximum of its capabilities. This helps guarantee an excellent cutting edge and the durability of the blade through years of use.
