This knife is forged with wrought iron cladding high carbon tool steel (80crv2), with a thin layer of nickel in between layers. The blade is ground for high performance general use, with a lovely central balance and fine cutting edge.

The wrought iron was taken from an old logging wagon wheel in my local area, providing decoration to the high carbon steel core. The bright layer of nickel between the layers provides a little extra bling, as well as stopping any carbon migration during the forging process.

The handle is black palm, an extremely hard and well wearing timber which is equally pleasing to the eye!

Blade dimensions are 180mm blade, 50mm at the heel, 330mm overall. The spine is 7mm in front of the handle, tapering to a very fine tip.
