This knife has been hand forged from reclaimed high carbon tool steel, cut from a nearly 40kg logging blade that I picked up near Eumundi late last year. The starry handle is comprised of black linen micarta inlayed with brass and silver pins.

The starry handle is comprised of black linen micarta inlayed with brass and silver pins. The shape of this particular handle has a slightly squarer fit to the hand.

 
Every blade that I forge is heat treated in a temperature-controlled kiln to optimize hardness, toughness and carbide formation ensuring the steel performs to the maximum of its capabilities. This helps guarantee an excellent cutting edge and the durability of the blade through years of use.
