This knife has a blade made from twist pattern welded steel, constructed by forge welding layers of 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steel together into a single billet, then twisting the steel while at tempatures exceeding 900 degrees and forming this into a blade. It has been constructed as a thin durable blade to be used for slicing meat and vegitables with reduced friction and razor sharp edge. The handle is made from stabolized mallee burl and brass and is designed to fit comfortably into any sized hand.

Every blade that I forge is heat treated in a temperature-controlled kiln to optimize hardness, toughness and carbide formation ensuring the steel performs to the maximum of its capabilities. This helps guarantee an excellent cutting edge and the durability of the blade through years of use.
